It's important to remind ourselves to not get too heavily invested in something that can be/is being misused and turn on you for money, control and power misuse.

I think its reasonable why you vent.
Telling your family/friends why you don't want to fucking use AI or become a fucking prompt engineer is you standing up for your own values of your own creativity, which in itself is something people should respect because it's your choice.
