On Saturday, Magdalen Road turns merry for the Christmas Fair - the road’s closed to traffic from 2–6pm with live music, stalls, food, drink and plenty of festive cheer.

Then on Sunday, the Santa Run takes over the city centre!

New rules mean postal vote applications now only last for 3 years. If you applied before 30 Jan 2024, you’ll need to reapply by 31 Jan 2026 to keep voting by post.

Topsham Ferry is now closed for the winter - but it’ll be back for a short festive run from Boxing Day to New Year’s Day (weather permitting).

Big thanks to everyone who hopped aboard this year.

The full service is set to return just before Easter 2026.
