Residents are reminded that there are changes to waste and recycling collections over Christmas and New Year. Full details are shown in this schedule.

On Saturday, Magdalen Road turns merry for the Christmas Fair - the road’s closed to traffic from 2–6pm with live music, stalls, food, drink and plenty of festive cheer.

Then on Sunday, the Santa Run takes over the city centre!

A man has been fined £38,000 for stripping out the historic interior of a 17th Century listed building on Topsham’s Strand – one of Exeter’s most important heritage sites.

Good news for Exwick! Around 2,200 more homes will start getting weekly food waste collections from Thursday 27 November. That’s now over 47,000 homes across Exeter on the service.

This weekend, a special exhibition at Exeter Historic Guildhall tells the story of the 307 Squadron Project, who defended our city during WWII.

Topsham Ferry is now closed for the winter - but it’ll be back for a short festive run from Boxing Day to New Year’s Day (weather permitting).

Big thanks to everyone who hopped aboard this year.
