I bought the NSW2 Edition and the Switch 1 copy. I wanted the preorder bonuses from GameStop and Best Buy, but I didn’t think I would also get the tote bag since my store wasn’t a midnight release location! That’s pretty cool.

I'm a big Inkay fan, and Malamar has an odd evolution method that is hilarious. I think I need to buy this sitting cutie! Luckily, I don't own it already, haha. Malamar can sit on my side table all day.

With a family member’s help, I was able to get two codes! I can now get both Koraidon and Miraidon, neither of which I’ve caught in my games yet. I’m hoping to get them in beast balls, but I have to get more from the item printer.
Releasing these codes on a MTG and Pokémon TCG day is wild!

Just by chance, I found a creator and was able to complete my set of pins from the rally! Going to check on some Mew cards for a friend and then see if I can get into the Arena. 🥳

Some of the merchandise was very tempting, but I wound up not getting the varsity jacket or the Reyn Spooner items. I did buy a Toedscool shirt though!

After I left the Pokémon Center last night, I noticed that they changed this Amazon locker outside the convention center to advertise a TCG set! I walked by this locker hours before and it was grey. So, within the hours I was waiting inside to make purchases, this wrap was added. Pretty cool!

Sometimes, it’s really difficult to deal with how I’m seen by others. I’m reminded by my therapist that I’ve come a long way. Four months ago, I couldn’t make an S sound. R sounds were either non-existent or sounded like W’s. I’m improving!

What is FND?
Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is a condition that affects the way the brain and body send and receive signals.

Functional Neurological Disorder
Considered a rare disease, Functional Neurological Disorder is a complex condition that involves multiple areas of the brain, including parts that control emotional regulation and motor movements. FND is considered a condition at the intersection of neurology and psychiatry. It is poorly understood and the exact prevalence is unknown.
A person with FND may present with symptoms that mimic with other neurological conditions, such as stroke, Parkinson’s or Multiple Sclerosis, conditions that cause damage to physical structures within the body.
Unlike these conditions, however, FND symptoms occur without neurological disease or damage. Instead, symptoms are caused by a disconnect between the brain, body and the nervous system.

FND has unique clinical features that include:
Motor Dysfunction
Sensory Dysfunction
Altered Awareness
Neuropsychological Symptoms
Speech Problems
Symptoms vary widely from person to person, and can wax and wane. A common misconception is that patients with FND can control some or all of their symptoms, but this is not the case.
Patients with FND do not consciously produce their functional symptoms.

Functional Neurological Disorder
Functional Neurological Disorder produces disability and a decline in the quality of life that is comparable to patients with Parkinson’s or Epilepsy. It is common for other illness or physical injury to trigger functional symptoms, and those symptoms should be treated separately from the co-occurring conditions, and not impede the care and treatment of those conditions. It is also not a diagnosis of exclusion.
