what if programming was interacting all day long with your dumb forgetful coworker instead of actually writing the code?

🕶️🤌 Nice broker you have there, it would be a shame if someone put #wasm in it

In-broker #Wasm transforms in @apachekafka with #Chicory and some light low-level patching 🧐

I hope you enjoyed part 1, because this is part 2 😎

Another thing to be proud of: the tail spec has been merged into the #wazero #wasm runtime. Even though it's relatively simple, it actually took a few weeks to get right in the interpreter and in both backends (arm64 and amd64).

Thanks ncruces and @mathetake for the support!

Am I doing it wrong? It looks like runtime-generated, dynamically-loaded DEX files are always interpreted on Android (well, at least on the first run). Thing is, it's pretty easy to overflow the stack of the interpreter. I wonder if there are ways around that...

I finally got my hard copy of @tartanllama.xyz's Building a Debugger and boy is it a treat! Not only is it a missing guide to DWARF for dummies like me, but it is also a gentle introduction to x64 ASM. Highly recommended! Kudos to @nostarchpress.bsky.social really my fav tech publisher :chefkiss:

- kids, there's three ways to code things: the right way, the wrong way, and the vibe coding way
- isn't that the wrong way?
- yeah, but faster
