Yes indeed. I had marked him with an ❌. There will be a strong anti-police reform coalition in this city council, unfortunately.

May the e-bike force be with you

Gosh yess. Goood point.

They definitely are way more affordable. I’ve only used mine for going to one of me nbd meetings or go to Mill St. But that’s it for now… let know how you do as you replace more trips! I’m still a bit scared to bike in places w no bike lanes 😭

Not sufficient. Not in light of the DOJ report follow-ups being… dead. Disappeared. Buried.

Force them to tell you why their “alternatives” make sense.

CRBs aren’t panacea. But, at minimum, they add a layer of accountability that right now is left in the internal hands of the city manager, chief of police and internal affairs.

But does this mean folks shouldn’t organize? Heck no. The opposite. Make them say why they’re against it. Expose the flaws & contradictions in their statements.

My hope too. I got an e-bike and slowly training myself to operate it to where I feel 100% comfortable replacing some my car trips w: it.

Everyone told Biden to expand the court and he refused. He could have. And now we’re seeing the constitution slowly being fed the fascism shredder.

Not for nothing but I actually look good in orange lady😘
December 6, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Oliver that is a such a great word: radicalized. Arguing against sidewalks,
narrowing the travel lane and screaming against a 30 lb thing w two rubber wheels, is…I have no words.

It is our legacy
December 6, 2025 at 12:52 PM
God forbid there are people needing or wanting to travel in a different mode of transportation. The most selfish behavior in action I have seen.
December 5, 2025 at 2:56 PM
walked up to me and said: "I wish you'd worn your orange jumpsuit tonight" and another well-known to oppose anything that has to do with safeguarding other people's safety. Those were the two people the reporter decided to interview.

They get framed by the current newspaper as the voice of reason. That's an issue. This is a state-funded project and it will go on as planned & hopefully incorporating important feedback from reasonable people. What truly sucks is the most reactionary voices got a platform--one of whom by the way
December 5, 2025 at 2:07 PM
widely to other people. It does not. Wayne Griffin's fake "mic drop" is just that. Theatrics covered in ignorance.
December 5, 2025 at 1:56 PM
No, they're arguing FOR THEIR OWN CONVENIENCE. Some of the folks I heard will probably NEVER even use that stretch of Pleasant Street. You know how I know? They hold a small window of existence that does not stretch beyond the street they live in. But, they act as though their concern extends
December 5, 2025 at 1:56 PM
The immediate neighbors who live near this area have literally been begging for change, they've made solid recommendations, only to be derailed again and again and again by the fury of selfishness and crazy conspiracy theories. OMG.
December 5, 2025 at 1:54 PM
that requires them to think of another human being. It simply is negligent, selfish, regressive, and uninformed behavior. The fact that a small group of same people keep showing up armed w the same tired and dramatic theatrics is truly sad. Kudos to those of you who showed up with reason.
December 5, 2025 at 1:54 PM
there have been deaths and injuries to children and seniors in this area. THAT SIMPLY DOES NOT MATTER. YET, these are the same folks who will complain the lack of sidewalks, the dangerous streets, lowering speed limits, adding even an uprotected bike lane, roundabouts, and anything
