I've been using Hetzner. Their tiny arm64 boxes are about $5 a month, and a 1TB storage box less than $4.

If you ARE technically inclined: for the price of Spotify Premium I rent a tiny server with 1TB of storage, where I host a media server, a forgejo/Git server, a database to sync my notes across devices, my personal website... and I am no technical genius. All this stuff got real easy recently.

if you desperately need analytics just plug your shit into LastFM and realise you spent an unreasonable amount of the year listening to the title theme from "space ghost coast to coast"
