When I was 12, I got a letter printed in Impulse #16, but because my grocery store only got a couple issues, I didn’t find out until a few years ago when a fan sent it to me.

The highlight of working on Jackpot for me was drawing the character of the first comic book I ever read. He only appeared on one page, and because I’m a god damn professional I fought the urge to turn that last panel into a 3/4 splash of Spidey swinging toward the viewer.
