I forget if I posted about this already, but I recently listened to Melanie Mitchell's ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE on Hoopla and it's amazing. An easy-to-grasp explanation of AI's components, their individual histories, and the reasons for why these components still fail. Assignable as well!

My daughter is obsessed with this French New Wave children's book because she thinks the drawing of Jean-Luc Godard and Anna Karina is a drawing of "mama and dada."

Elkind and Carlos were also the ones pushing for Kubrick to use Elstree Studio's newly installed Dolby processors on all the film's pre-mixes. Most histories credit this decision to Kubrick, because he's Kubrick. But Kubrick was actually a stick-in-the-mud when it came to Dolby noise reduction.

I feel like we have the opportunity to turn David Lynch's quote into this moment's "Keep Calm and Carry On" and it's a far better rallying cry too.

Results for our local school board race are trickling in and it looks like the anti-trans Republicans lost their seats.

I know school boards don't get the national attention, but they really matter. And Rs are getting hosed in all parts of Pennsylvania tonight.

This criticism of my article inadvertently makes my somewhat dry and obvious claims sound kinda badass.

(Also: my article is correct.)

And when you Google "Taylor Swift" today...

There's that video somewhere (I'll find it eventually) where Taylor Swift jokes that "Hey Stephen" is really about Stephen King, and that The Dark Tower changed her life.

But her new era is all about orange doors, and friends I don't think she was kidding about The Dark Tower.
