Tokyo Game Show is already becoming a huge event, and I think we spoke of a few going on in Europe already

The less international folks feel safe going to the US the more the industry as a whole is going to have to realise it needs to shift to better things than the corpo buy-in that GDC is

Maybe it's time to start moving game dev conferences over to Europe where there's generally a stronger industry for smaller studios and it's less centralised

Oh, and if a AAA studio announces how amazing their games are since they laid off half their workforce to replace them with gen"ai", stop buying their fucking games
