As opposed to ai assisted code, where the AI mostly handles busy work or autocomplete, and is directed by someone who knows exactly what they want to build and generally how to write it.

I think to me a vibe coded app is written almost entirely by AI from a clean slate, at the direction of a person who would not have been able to write it without AI.

There was a real problem with the way the doctors took control of childbirth away from women last century, but most hospitals will let you have a natural childbirth in the hospital now with minimal medical interventions.

Why hasn’t congress just blocked funding for it?

It’s desperate and pathetic and he is badly misjudging the mood of the country. People are rightfully blaming him for the violence and chaos. They thought they could exploit charlie kirk, they think they can exploit this, but their ham-handed glee about it is too obvious.

Stephen miller should have his access to trump’s social media cut off.

A guy hears a knock at his door, no one there, but he sees a snail, chucks it out the garden. 3 months later, there’s a another knock at the door and the snail says “what the fuck was that about”

It has the exact same texture as sweet potato puree, so it makes it smoother and creamier without changing the mouth feel.

I made the mistake of going to the zootopia subreddit after watching the movie yesterday.

420 or 69, yeah, but either way, my kids have read dozens of book this year and are also stuck on the 6 7 thing. Parents do it as much as the kids now though.

All the parade performances are lip-synced, but she has been singing a few notes lower than the recording when she does it live.

I despise Trump and voted against him but I would not welcome a foreign invasion to liberate us.

This is quite an outdated view of what AI is capable of.

“About to burst” is doing a lot of work. The dotcom bubble was identified as early as 1996 and then continued inflating for 4 more years. That is typical of tech bubbles. We are still far away from large amounts of bankruptcies or stock market crashes.

I know that people have strong feelings against AI, but you do understand that this is like trying to argue against “computers”. AI is just a computer program, it does a lot of useful stuff. It is never going away. You are not going to live in a world with zero AI.

There was a little bit of this during the last crypto hype wave where every company had a crypto currency project but that was more toe dipping. This is more like the move to public cloud. Companies are all in on it.

As someone in the industry, though, it is hard to express how much the tech industry is working on and thinking about AI. It is literally all that anybody is talking about. Every company that touches tech considers themselves an AI company. We are so so far from the bubble bursting.
