The message is: crowd large.

Many politicians, administrators, and business leaders, in bowing to Trump, have drawn confidence and comfort from the perceived vibe shift.

Events like this puncture that delusion.
You can stop asking where the mass opposition is. It's everywhere.
People poured out to protest not only what Trump has done—and what they fear he will do next.

Good god. I deeply wish the New York Times would talk to actual virologist and doctors instead of political wonks.

They should talk to ‘this week in virology’ instead.

Just bc you are an expert in something, does not make you an expert in everything.

The funniest thing about the cybertruck recall is that they can't do anything to actually fix their shit falling off except glue it back on with better glue.

Like, *actually* fixing it would involve redesigning them to not fractally suck, into totally different cars. All there is, are bandaid fixes

The DOGE goon rampage continues with Congress doing nothing and the courts responding too late. We should definitely not respond in any extralegal ways, right?

Bluesky made more money selling t-shirts mocking Zuckerberg than custom domains
Bluesky CEO Jay Graber made a splash at SXSW last week, showing up at her keynote event in a t-shirt that subtly poked fun at Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg. Or, at least it seemed like it was subtle. But so many people appreciated the jab that users…

My latest with @kylebazgo.bsky.social for @dailydot.com identifies the likely operator of the anonymous racist account as Geoffrey Martin, a Canadian.
