The teaser trailer for By Time You See Me There Will Be Nothing Left, my directorial debut about a messy t4t serial killer couple, being a mentally ill cripple, and living in California in 2025, it’s a very depressing fucked up little movie and I can’t wait to show to yall (kickstarter below)

It just shows how it’s really just about destroying the arts and having total social control because they are spending more money to do it than it would cost to fund (for instance) a UBI program for every artist and writer.
How come artists don’t get a $1 trillion bailout? That would easily be enough money to support every artist living today for several years.

This is one of the things I hate most about modern capitalism. The idea of making money has been fully peeled away from delivering any kind of goods or services that people would want to pay money for.

This is so stupid. James Bond is easily on the level where you can start the next movie where he’s like “that was a decoy bond-bot we exploded” and the disbelief will be suspended.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

My story is called PARTISAN

43 pages of eviscerated androids, clicky buttons, CRT displays, airlocks, memories downloaded to VHS tapes via RCA cable ports embedded in a brain, and burst skulls inside of a cryogenic sleep chamber!

Regularly commissioning art make artists emerge as known names in the scene. As their work becomes known, their art and name attract people to financing campaigns. Featuring their name and giving them spotlight in your financing campaign helps them emerge and help attracting backers.

The Halloween Monster Jam was our first focused short form jam. With 21 entries we were reminded (as we always are) about how creative and interesting the Liminal Horror community is.

So here are the winners, in no particular order!!!

No, using AI generated stuff as a "placeholder" on your crowdfunding campaign is not OK either.

If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.

Man who keeps spilling a bowl of soup on your lap promises to continue keeping the soup in the bowl.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Many freelancers in the United States rely on ACA marketplace plans for their health insurance. In an industry that has already been working overtime to turn gamedevs into gig workers, freelance and contract devs are about to get even more squeezed. This is unacceptable.

I gambled that this would happen and signed up for my wife’s work’s health insurance option, which is $200 more per month than I’m paying now for the premium alone (co-pays definitely worse too) because I had a feeling they would gut the ACA. This sucks. My health is a constant struggle already.
So every freelancer you know is going to lose their insurance or be bankrupted by premiums because Schumer is an invertebrate
