Ah, honestly, I don’t think I really have enough knowledge about writing technique to even answer that question! (Totally untrained amateur here!) It was a complex scene so switching POVs gave slightly different perspectives on a whole bunch of things that was going on at once, and

Within a scene. Often that’s about pacing; introspection or character development gets big chunks from one POV, but I wrote an action sequence recently where it switched literally every paragraph or two.
I guess it’s more what feels right at the time than any particular rules 🤷🏻♀️
