In our latest blog, my colleague Emily Gregory and I discuss two examples of models that support caregiver-young child health as a unit, barriers that stand in the way of scaling them, and how these barriers can be overcome. I hope you’ll check it out.

One piece of such a policy response involves leveraging families’ relatively high likelihood of attending pediatric well-visits for their infants & toddlers to reach caregivers themselves.

U.S. caregivers’ health – especially mental well-being – is worsening, and this shapes children’s health. We at @policylabchop.bsky.social have discussed the need for a holistic policy agenda for caregivers.

The judge ordered the city to stop taking parking spaces to create bike-friendly loading zones -- so trucks will then either stop traffic, or stop in the bike lane (MUCH more likely)

The judge's quote at the end is killing me. Of course this would help prevent trucks & cars from stopping in bike lanes! The residents' interests have been adversely affected?! How about my interest of me & my husband coming home alive?
