Hotel La Tour was lit up in orange for the “Orange the World” campaign – a beautiful symbol of our city’s drive to tackle violence against women and girls. And white ribbons were tied around the MK Rose.

This powerful and moving exhibition will be up until the 10th of December, throughout the 16 days of activism, so if you’re in the city centre, wander over to look at these beautiful pieces of art.

There was art from knitting to paintings and needlework that drew on the experiences of women and girls from the violence that we face, to the determination we show in making this world and our city a safer place for women and girls.
