I actually think competition is great! (It definitely pushed us to make sure our game was very good.)
I don't think acting like you had an idea all on your own when you literally just ripped off the new hotness is a good thing. It speaks very strongly of the character of the person claiming credit.

I remember being such a fan of Pixar, then watching that Disney Infinity marketing video where Lassiter acted like *he* had the idea for Toys to Life.
Except, there were Skylanders in several of the shots.
I was disappointed and sad.

My best advice is to make sure you have those blue lunchbox freezer packs. Then lay on them or wrap them around your torso.
