i think i got it! i think! i tried to make that really silvery light that seems to highlight everythings edges without washing out the colour entirely

especially when it comes to joy and love and hope! It has a range of emotions! despair and grief and anger and loss but I think what really sets xiv apart (again like lotr) is that focus on keeping hope and love, not despite of but because of all the pain and doing so with their whole chest

It's one of the reasons xiv has become so utterly beloved to me, it hits the same spot as lord of the rings with showing characters just being people with emotions, their willingness to just have characters feel unashamedly

Eos gets to sit on robins shoulder all the time meanwhile lune walks around with carbuncle at the rising stones like that one jake gyllenhaal gif with the ferret
