had a normal one over on tumblr last night while editing
Tumblr post (from me) reading, "the hot new thing in town is linguistic worldbuilding everyone loves linguistic worldbuilding surely linguistic worldbuilding is easy to understand and intuit and does not need to be explained and all the magazines love linguistic worldbuilding even in flash stories and there is no such thing as too many conlanged proper nouns". I spent more time on this than I care to admit. This isn't even for a BOOK; "Deadname" is just a unpublished longish short story that's been eating my brain for a few years now.
A fake book cover with an old, colorful illustration of various mushrooms in the background. There is a rectangle framing an old photo of a woman, but there's damage obscuring her face. Underneath it says "Deadname" and then "Ellis Nye", the latter in a rather tacky font.

Whew, there we go! Just barely finished my #novemberwriting or NotNoWriMo or whatever you want to call it.
A LibreOffice calc sheet showing my attempt to write 50k words in the month of November. The graph shows expected wordcount vs. actual and shows me just barely exceeding 50k on the last day after some wobbling. Stats on right show I wrote 50,135 words.

hey I heard you're a big fan of copying other people's work and passing it off as your own so I uh. well.
(there's another sheet where I input the wordcount from each writing session and then this sheet automatically calculates everything, took ~five hours to figure it all out)

A LibreOffice Calc sheet that shows my stats for my attempt to write 50k words in the month of November. Wordcount per day on the left, graph comparing expected and actual wordcount in the middle, info on words written, words left to write, and how many words per day to finish on the right. Shows that I wrote 0 words on 11/1 and over 2k on 11/2, graph reflects that.
