My number one mental warning alarm when visiting a church is when the Churchwarden or anyone in a position of 'power' or high responsibility complains about having to do safeguarding training.

1/ Related: Had a convo with my mom a few months ago that summed up to her saying business owners (read: my dad / ppl in power) deserve the benefit of the doubt for being good people & having integrity, but the poor / welfare recipients don’t. But she can’t articulate why she feels that way, other
Has anyone had any luck breaking through the bubble when talking to Trump supporters this term? Presenting facts doesn't seem to do it, appealing to relationships doesn't seem to do it, the assumption is that everything that disagrees with Trump and Musk is fake. I don't know what the path is.

Cesar Chavez began his 25-day fast in Delano, CA Feb. 14, 1968, to rededicate the movement to nonviolence. In this daily public appearance for Mass he was helped by Philip Vera Cruz (left) and Julio Hernandez. 100s came to where he fasted at the movement’s Forty Acres complex.

Saw someone say, "End your friendships with people who are going about life like nothing is wrong." I will never understand people who think that further isolating ourselves from everyday people who don't get it is going to save us. It's not. Your judgment and disdain will not save us.
