This is far from the wurst sausage research I've seen.

Conservatives: the woke left is waging a war on Christmas

Also Conservatives: hey that guy who's name is now short hand for not liking Christmas? Actually pretty cool dude

I'll never not think of Conan when I see news about the tonight show, the respect he once had for what he saw as a true pillar of television ... and then compare it to what it is now, it's horribly sad

Well it probably can't be any worse than the 2nd movie...

I dunno to me it makes sense with the fact Apple prioritizes product recognition. They want people to see an Apple device and know it's an Apple device, and since they can't put a giant Apple logo on it, deliberately choosing a shape that won't be copied by other big brands feels very on brand.

Honestly back then it just felt good that you had some doctors who did informed consent, and insurance would cover it without needing to have years of "lived experience" of socially transitioning before you could get any HRT. I still needed to get a letter from a therapist though. Shit was crazy :(

I know I wasn't the only person, a friend who started HRT that same year also had that concern and I'm pretty sure we thought the main reason for doing labs was to make sure you weren't in a range that would put you at risk of a stroke or DVT.
November 20, 2025 at 11:22 PM
I wonder if a lot of it is a hold over from how it used to be presented. When I started HRT in 2015 I was very scared of possibly having a stroke based on the risks docs would show you before prescribing it made it sound very high. Some people might never have been told that isn't true?

I'm honestly kinda curious if someone did a survey of how big different fast food menus are, because I feel like McDonalds would be at the top, only behind like Taco Bell
November 19, 2025 at 1:08 AM
Yeah but now people on the right can point to it and say "see? Look, he was okay to release them!" Which is annoying

DEN parties? Not sure what that means

Unpopular opinion but Schumacher got way too much shit. Lost Boys is incredibly fun and it's a shame he's more known for Batman than it, but even his Batman movies are funny in how campy and absurd they are

It could kill the whole GOP and Trump wouldn't care if it kept him protected. Dont know how much it will help him at this point but it's worth trying in his mind.

My honest read with him saying that is he's confident it will die in the Senant

Oh so THAT'S why I'm gay. I always wondered

Eisenhower had some of the most fascinating photos taken of any president. Often posed in ways that conservatives would see as very effeminate these days but I can't find anything talking about him being unmanly when he was president.

If you want to further complicate logistics and happen to have a Costco membership you can get $100 worth of Switch gift cards for $90.

I remember someone in my family bringing up this ad in like 2016 and I was amazed they still were mad about it 3 years later. 12 is absolutely insane.

Same. Although I've learned it's much more healthy to channel most of the hostility towards the Astros.

It's weird as a Mariners fan because I got a lotta empathy for how Toronto must be feeling now, but that's only because they made all of us feel equally as terrible last week
November 2, 2025 at 4:32 AM
It's weird being a Mariners fan right now because I kinda have a lot of empathy for how awful this must feel... after they made all of Seattle feel awful last week in a similar way. At least we won our last home game

The most insane thing to me is people complaining about games being $80 now when that's just now getting back to the price some games used to cost when they were on cartridges.

Final Fantasy 3 for the SNES was $80 in 1990 money.

Plenty of 90s games were $80+. Some were $100

Our MVP being a switch hitting catcher with over 60 Home Runs and a nickname based on his giant butt really does continue the bizarre legacy of this team.

Sadly so do the painful loses, and this was a big one.
