My parents’ house is a nightmare of mostly simple fixes that neither of them have the time, ability, or money to fix. My partner wants to go to their house one weekend and just fix what he can, because it’s ridiculous. I don’t know how they live like that.

So much time, and a little risk too. I’ve only seen plus size secondhand online, and the only reason I’ve stuck to Torrid is because I mostly know how it fits. I avoid branching out to other brands because I don’t want to risk wasting the money or dealing with returns. 😩

I looked at a couple of the stores listed in a reply to you, and there were a couple cute pieces, but I absolutely can’t afford to buy a $98 plain t shirt, or a $300 plain dress. I only buy Torrid on clearance as is! There has to be a middle ground, right?

And when they do have solid colors, it still feels entirely too expensive for the mediocre quality. $60 plain tshirts for Walmart quality.

My stepdad wasn’t exactly greedy about food like in the video, but was very much “man of the house gets the biggest portions, no matter what” and my mother backed it up by always fixing his plate first. I didn’t understand why he couldn’t get his own plate of food and why I had to wait.

And then had the nerve to not even apologize when we got out our cars at the same damn time! Which is crazy that we even did because I had to drive to the top of the street and turn around in the hopes that her dumbass would remember how to park. 😤

Starbucks used to be one of my little treats to myself, but besides their shitty stances, they’ve just gotten too expensive. But also I never got straight coffee, I got the fancy mixed drinks that I can’t make at home.
