I think I know what you mean. It is not amateur for sure, there are many foreign players and managers there. If you want to see real grass-roots football - check out 5th and lower tiers in Poland :D

I am not familiar with these teams, it's lower level than European or South American cups, but it can be fun. I prefer watching Eastern Asian clubs because of bigger and better organised crowds. Overall it is interesting.

I am sure that dental care is lot cheaper in Poland, not sure about surgery. Did you check such options?
