I’ve teared up during races before out of gratitude that my legs were working.

Today it was out of gratitude that there is still beauty around us, and there are so many people who are fighting and are already laying the groundwork to rebuild after the Trump era.

Keep fighting, fam.

In the past, the vaccine POD where I volunteered for more than 100 hours in 2021 stood exactly where I stood for a photo today.

There was a 5K race to raise funds for pediatric cancer research at the UofA today.

As I ran, I got overwhelmed by the fact that all around me were the things that I value and that MAGA is trying to destroy.

Education. Community. The Arts. Research. Appreciation for all people.

Never a good sign when I have a chance to post this.

Any vaccine on this slide for the U.S. but not for Denmark is what Trump wants to get rid of, thanks to FDA employee Tracy Beth Hoeg, who has zero understanding of the U.S. public health system.

HepB, RSV, rotavirus, Covid19, flu, chickenpox, HepA and meningitis.

Attorney Siri claims that vaccines need to be “depoliticized”.

Perhaps he should inform the Republican Party of this.
December 5, 2025 at 6:48 PM
U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy again makes a concern-shaped face and types out futile demands to undo the horrific decisions that are being made because he voted to confirm RFK Jr. as HHS Secretary and encouraged others to do so.

He makes sad noises but doesn’t DO anything to stop this travesty.

One of my old friends from Pittsburgh has a family-owned candy store and they had good timing with this year’s holiday shipment.

I usually give these out to friends but after this day I’m thinking I’ll start with the Rice Krispies stocking and work my way through the truffles by morn.

This is now the current vote proposal. They think this has clarified the issue.

I have literal screenshots from my iPad.

Harvard MBA and radical anti-vaxxer Mark Blaxill presents a slide that shows no association between HBV vaccine and chronic illness.

The only ones that putatively show a link are by a discredited fraud, Mr. Geier.

It’s a circus of stigmatization and anti-immigrant breathlessness at Temu ACIP today.
December 4, 2025 at 2:13 PM
Anti-vaxxer and climate scientist Cynthia Nevison now presents data showing that maternal Hepatitis B cases are mostly in “foreign-born” women from Africa and Asia.

She doesn’t explain why this information is relevant to public health. Her meaning is clear to me, anyway.

Disgraceful.
December 4, 2025 at 2:04 PM
Vaccine opponent Vicky Pebsworth presents this slide showing that rampant vaccine disinformation has had its desired effect in reducing vaccinations.

She also seems to use this as justification for creating barriers to vaccine access.
December 4, 2025 at 1:44 PM
The destruction of the legitimacy of ACIP is so complete that the vague agenda on the left is all they have up for tomorrow’s meeting.

It looks like no CDC scientists will present. No materials are posted.

Usually ACIP posts a detailed agenda which includes materials (see example on right).
December 3, 2025 at 2:04 PM
The new chair of ACIP, Kirk Milhoan, is a spreader of vaccine disinformation.

He was fact-checked by AFP for wildly misinterpreting a study about myocarditis in athletes, claiming the vaccine was to blame.

None of the athletes had been vaccinated.

They had, however, had COVID19.

The pressure and threats of violence apparently worked. Governor Mike Braun announced for his Thanksgiving tidings that he’s ever so grateful that the Senate will meet after all to make a “fair” map that will be 9-0 Republican districts. (5/7)

I’ve been saying this for a long time.

Agree.
November 28, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Twitter undoubtedly affected the 2024 election with AI. We don’t need to look outside the U.S. for election interference, though it sure leaves to door open to anyone with money and bad intentions.

Right after the 2024 election I wondered aloud if this were possible. One expert certainly agreed.

Louisiana Surgeon General Ralph Abraham has just been named as the principal deputy director at the CDC.

Abraham’s accomplishments include banning the health department from promoting vaccines and overseeing the concomitant explosion of whooping cough in the state, which has killed two babies.
November 25, 2025 at 6:49 PM
This is what I said about Dr. Bedard’s December 2024 piece when it came out.

“I'm disgusted by all of the "RFK Jr. might ashually have good ideas except for vaccines" hot takes. Being an anti-vaxxer is disqualifying for any leadership role related to healthcare”.
November 25, 2025 at 4:01 PM
Started/Going with Dr. Rachael Bedard.

There is no common ground between science and RFK Jr.
November 25, 2025 at 3:36 PM
Rachael Bedard told us all we needed to find common ground with RFK Jr one year ago.

People who know what they’re talking about knew this disaster would unfold.

RFK Jr. was always unfit for his role and this is the consequence.

Oh, Rachael Bedard, you say? She must have had a rude awakening. Her position one year ago was that we should all find common ground with RFK Jr.
