Pro Trump and other annoying accounts blocked/muted on sight.
I agree the chances are nil.
Would be good tho.

Wait, I'm getting a causal link here.....lol.

We need to think in terms of safety.
Me judging the morality (or mental health etc) of a stephen miller doesn't really solve anything.
Same with someone like RFK jr.
It is not SAFE to allow these broken individuals into positions of power.
No more than adding cyanide to your coffee.
November 28, 2025 at 7:05 PM
Let's just say trump is not totally stupid.
He knows Americans are not a wise people.
He himself is the proof.
November 28, 2025 at 7:01 PM
You'd think their pet billionaires would have told them "this is why we build bunkers on private islands. for when the pitchforks come out."
November 28, 2025 at 6:49 PM
That must be computer altered.
Not even rudy at his most intoxicated pulls his pants up that high.

I assume there are negative health effects if ones face is coated in liquid asbestos.
But maybe I'm mistaken.
Surely.

The rules of "both sides" are "treat Democratic scandals as much worse than Republican scandals. Especially when the republican scandal is much worse".
The hysteria of coverage is a baseline.
Then reality is squeezed into that starting framework.
Not the other way around.

Would love to see some coverage of how the cost of electrification is distributed in converting older buildings.
Believe me, I'd love to have the building all electric.
The problem is the cost.
Millions of dollars.
Electric boiler, heat pumps in prewar construction, 3 layer windows, etc.
$$$

How I look forward to the day when this is the norm.
The sooner the better.
November 28, 2025 at 6:31 PM
Eventually it *is* going to fall down.
Will be interesting to see what happens then.
November 28, 2025 at 4:18 PM
Yeah, some form of this has been a republican "feeling" (thankfully not an actual policy) for decades.
It has emotional resonance with some people.
Because of course nobody "likes" paying taxes.
But all it is is a feeling.
Because the *reality* would collapse the nation.
There'd be nothing left.
November 28, 2025 at 4:13 PM
In no plausible scenario does tariff revenue substitute for income taxes.
It will never ever "work" by any sane definition of "work".
It will lead to societal collapse.
It will be the most regressive policy in modern history.
And yet this is the kind of thing that becomes "normalized" now.
November 28, 2025 at 4:09 PM
Take NYC:
1% of the population pay 50% of the personal income tax revenue.
IMAGINE if that tax revenue suddenly disappeared.
The whole city collapses almost overnight.
Millionaires paid 41% of the New York's personal income taxes in 2023.
Imagine all that money simply gone.
System collapses.
November 28, 2025 at 4:06 PM
If he actually DID this thing he's talking about?
Who pays tariffs?
Average citizens.
It's essentially a tax on everything you buy.
Food, housing, clothing, etc.
Who pays income taxes?
The wealthy.
So what he is proposing is moving even MORE money from the poor and middle class to the wealthy.
November 28, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Vaccines do not CAUSE health problems.
They PREVENT health problems.
Tylenol does not cause autism.
Again, the facts are OVERWHELMINGLY on your side.
So just speak up.
November 28, 2025 at 3:51 PM
The actions of ONE person do not define 200 thousand other people.
The math will back you up on this.
And on many other issues.
Tariffs will not FIX inflation.
They will CAUSE inflation.
Again, facts are on your side.
MATH is on your side.
So speak up.
November 28, 2025 at 3:49 PM
One category of lie is simple factual stuff.
Always correct that.
Another category is overgeneralization.
To say that the behavior of ONE individual means an entire GROUP is responsible and must be purged.
If ONE afghan refugee kills someone then ALL refugees are potential killers.
A LIE.
November 28, 2025 at 3:47 PM
If the facts are on your side, there is a longterm BENEFIT to calling a lie a lie.
In a few years you will look very good, and the psychopath president will be deceased.
A disgrace.
So just do the right thing.
Call a lie a lie.
Do it every single time.
If it catches on, we can fix this.
November 28, 2025 at 3:44 PM
The only hope is that it becomes normalized to CALL A LIE A LIE.
When Trump says some crazy lie, journalists have to make it clear in real time.
Even if they lose access.
Sorry.
Our country is more important than you having daily access to this psychopath president.
Time to step up.
November 28, 2025 at 3:41 PM
And after trump won in 2016, his campaign full of this pathological dishonesty, this mentality crept into his entire party.
Follow the leader.
If this kind of behavior means you win?
Then you engage in that behavior.
Up is down.
Night is day.
They're eating the cats.
Whatever works.
November 28, 2025 at 3:39 PM
One way that people try to normalize trump's lying is by saying "all politicians lie".
no.
Not all politicians lie like Trump does.
All politicians may shade the truth, spin things, etc.
They do not engage in 24/7/365 full on 180 degree pathological lying.
This is a different behavior.
