Yes! This is what is happening with Sudanese migrants who need to go back and forth b/t Sudan and Egypt- they resort to smugglers because legal pathways have all but been closed. This leads to dangerous journeys

My friend goes to a Darfuri hairdresser in Cairo. She went yesterday but her shop was closed. “The shops on the whole street were closed, it was like one giant funeral prayer, everything and everyone in black, people wailing, rbna yastor”. #KeepEyesOnSudan
