Remembering the day this little foal was born. I think of it every time I walk that pasture. The joy of raising Welsh ponies.

So beautiful outside, had to walk around the farm between raindrops. Bee hives, the barn and wahoo berries glistening from the rain.

Almost every year, we have herps in the greenhouse. This year this gorgeous toad and a few frogs. I usually try and take them out but they often just come right back in. So beautiful.

Making my morning pit stop at the greenhouse on the way to the barn to feed our barn cat Fluffy and my chickens. Some of my main green residents below and seeds coming up. Agave, rosemary, oregano and radicchio.

I suppose you could call me second hand rose, I love odd ball unique flea market stuff. As you can see from my collection of this and that in this cupboard. Color is a plus especially.

Reporting back from my Monday visit to Eden Animal Haven/Cat Rescue. I took a big bag of fresh catnip so it was fun to see all the different reactions.
Here you have Muriel who was so painfully shy when she first came in. Today she was reaching out for pets in such a sweet way. 417-756-7061

Stacked another load of firewood this morning. All hickory from a big tree whose top blew out. The big winds we get here in SW MO are rough on our elder trees. Often the tops are damaged.

Honoring Cloud (now over 20) and Stripey (over the rainbow bridge) this Caturday. Two rescues that are family, always.
November 15, 2025 at 12:52 PM
Just stacked a small load of downed wood from our bottom. I'm the stacker not the cutter. Mostly hickory and oak.

Made an apple galette today out of the Wolf River apples that family brought from MI. Even whipped up some organic cream with honey for the top. Super good.
