You know, Tiara, I think even those of us who has lived longer than you have did not realize how powerful propaganda is, especially in coordination and with the support of tech bros. Try to find supportive friends & other contacts if possible. Also, look up a cult expert Steven Hassan for advice.

I think he's just another grifter, (with marketing degrees) who saw that male grievance is where the $$$ are, after an early wave of similar guys like Robert Bly (a poet who led a male empowerment movement a generation or so ago).

I suggest they rename it after Barak Obama, since he was actually awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. It would drive you know who crazy.

I suggest that you count your blessings. I grew up in Miami, which was portrayed in Miami Vice. My favorite Florida film, though, is the "Florida Project" in case you haven't seen it. Willem Defoe worked for a tiny paycheck and the rest of the cast were new to acting. The kids are incredible actors.

I watched Treme for the first time lately. It is such a searingly beautiful portrayal of the life in a New Orleans neighborhood. It helped me get through the daily stream of obscenities being perpetrated & was a needed antidote to the hate and greed. Thank you for your love letter to that place.
