A young Trafalgar Law has just finished getting dressed, adjusting his sweater overtop a flannel. He looks out from under the brim of his hat, giving him a rather grim and dour expression. Off-screen, Cora-san speaks.

Cora: "So what's the deal with the hat?"

Law: "Mn?"

A two paneled comic page, one in the present, and one being a flashback.

1.) Cora-san has his arms folded as he glances to the side, reminiscing.

Cora: "I remember when Doffy took you in. Giolla and Gladius were getting you new clothes, but- You threw an absolute FIT when they tried to toss your hat away with the rest of your old clothes."

2.) We see the scene as Cora described, Giolla and Gladius reeling back in shock at the loud and violent reaction that Law has to them trying to take his hat away. He screams, 'NO' and yanks his hat back, holding it tightly to his chest.

We see Cora sitting in a relaxed position, leaning his head on his shoulder and long legs loosely crossed. Off-screen, Law speaks.

Law: "It was a gift. From my parents, for my Birthday..."

(2/2) I'm of the belief that Law's hat is the same one from childhood that he's just modded/altered throughout the years.

1.) Law is turned away, still gripping his hat brim.

Law: "...Dad said it was so I could, "Grow into it."

(Quieter now) "What a fucking joke-"

2.) Cora sits up straight now, looking upset/saddened with the tone Law has taken now.

Cora: "Hey!"

1.) Law starts to walk off, shoulders stiff and eyes still hidden under the brim of his hat.

Cora: "Law!"

Law: "Just forget about it. Let's go already-"

Cora: "Oi!"

2.) Cora has reached out and grabbed the back collar of Law's shirt and sweater, pulling him back rather forcefully.

Cora: "Hold up!!!"

Law: "PPPBBBbbbb" (choking on his shirt collar)

1.) The main and center panel. Cora has pulled Law into a tight hug, squishing his face into Law's hat, effectively hiding his expression. Law looks up, a little bewildered, only one eye showing from under the tilted brim of his hat.

Cora: "I've already TOLD you. We ARE going to find a cure. No matter WHAT. Do you understand?"

2.) A close-up of the lower half of Cora's face, showing how he's tightly clenching his teeth in almost a snarl.
