I have my characters talking around each other tp avoid rehashing all the things that havr already said. Now looking for a way to interrupt them and break the impass.

I have pages of brainstormed ideas about how my MCs may be treated on their arrival, and now I'm struggling to convert enough of that into this scene without overwhelming the reader.

For the record, the programming certificate I earned in the mid 80s included a module on how to program in RPG.

Sigh. I'm trying, but I just can't listen to video only podcasts. I need the ability to download the audio to my podcatcher so that I can listen to it on the fly, during my commute or when out on errands.

We've reached that time of year where I have to stop listening to radio stations as they switch to all Christmas all the time playlists. I do like my Christmas songs, but not the same 12 songs covered by 50 artists on repeat.

My characters are system hopping in the prototype starship Niv's grandfather had them steal to keep it, and them, from falling into the wrong hands.

I would like to rephrase, As more and more people choose to use AI, to, As more and more people have AI thrust upon them without their consent or knowledge.

Niv doesn't gave a hard colour scheme. The standard duty uniform is green with grey boots. What does stand out I'd his red hair, and if you get close enough, his grey eyes.

These introduce yourself with 5 concerts you've been to posts are a bit problematic for me. I've only ever been to 2 concerts, 1 that was as much a comedy routine, and 1 music festival day which in my mind doesn't count.

I've bit the bullet on some more ad testing. Only time will tell if it means I can have more or less tea during my writing sessions over the next couple of weeks.

Then there's Facebook, where all targeting is in the hands of the FB AI in a way not even Amazon Ads match. I cringe at being beholden to an AI to get word of what I write before potential readers.

Bookbub ads another level of complication I struggle with answering, in that it is necessary to figure out which authors readers to target. So many of the authors I might want to try don't even have an Bookbub presence and others have such a small platform they are virtually meaningless as targets.

Sitting here contemplating Facebook and Bookbub Ads and how I always stumble at the point where all the advice tells me how important the creative image is. I am not graphically minded and thus seeing why a claimed successful creative works always eludes me.

I'm having fun this this one. My MC is spaceborn and raised and has no experience with nature outside of artificial parks and training vids. The look on his face the first time an ocean wave hit his bare foot had my FMC in stitches.

I'm having fun this this one. My MC is spaceborn and raised and has no experience with nature outside of artificial parks and training vids. The look on his face the first time an ocean wave hit his bare foot had my FMC in stitches.
Stuck wondering how much I need to explain to readers why my characters are proceeding in the manner they are when they do have another option that could theoretically make things smoother, at first.

Conversations about whether to write the sequel before the first book takes off always leaves me conflicted. Yes, I want my series to do well, but I also have a story I want to tell even if that means I never hit the big time.
