Rachel Reeves says this Labour Governments decisions are "necessary."

Why is it always necessary to hit the living standards of the 99%?

When are we going to make the necessary decisions about extreme wealth?

✨Ruffs, an Arctic shorebird, have four distinct male types shaped by a supergene, each with different hormones and mating strategies. Their diversity shows how vertebrate sex and behavior vary far beyond a simple male–female binary.

The war will end when Russia stops fighting. Therefore, pressure has to be put on Russia, so that they stop believing that they will win. Why is that so hard to understand?

Here’s a tough quote to read from the book “Propaganda” written by Edward Bernays in 1928. It’s got me wondering if “intellectual inequality” in the world is as important to study as “economic inequality”.

Given that the BBC endlessly gives platforms to lobbyists from the dark money junktanks without revealing their interests, shouldn't we be seeing such apologies every day?

Better still, how about not doing it? If they want to appear, we should know on whose behalf they are speaking.

Maybe we’re already part of a hive mind
I recently discovered the new TV show Pluribus, about a scenario where the whole world gets turned into a hive mind, an annoyingly nice one, at least in the initial episodes, but where a few humans turn out to be immune to the virus that converts everyone else, including the cantankerous protagonist, Carol Sturka. The hive mind in the show appears to work via telepathy, enabled by alien sequences of DNA.
