And provosts across the country just shrug and say, "Yeah, whats your point?"
It’s blowing my mind that schools, universities, public services would run headlong into this. We spent 15 years documenting black boxes. This is a black box in a black hole!
I don't understand how anyone can watch how blatantly Grok is manipulated to answer the way ownership desires it to and then act like the other LLM chatbots couldn't possibly be similarly but less obviously compromised to produce responses in whatever way corporate interests and priorities dictate.

This exact same discussion can be made about turnaround schools under Obama-Duncan. #EduSky
Let’s talk about “Move fast and break things.” First of all, Facebook itself changed its motto to “Move fast with stable infrastructure” in 2014. So much for breaking things, at least if you’re a soulless corporate behemoth.

These houses are 10-15 miles apart. Roughly same size. Both are nice but different styles. One is more than $200K than the other.

Mostly bcz it is in a well-funded, top school district. The other is not.

They will run a story on a turkey, but not extra judicial killings, dementia, etc, etc, etc

In other words, when only the affluent could afford to fly?
Duffy: "Trump talks about the golden age of transportation. But the golden age in transportation truly begins with you ... People dress up like they're going to bed when they fly ... so we want to push people as we come into a really busy travel season: Help people out, be in a good mood, dress up"

TRUMP: “That’s ok, you can just say yes.”

apparently my Uni used to have classes Mon-Tue before Thanksgiving. Students skipped so now they have the whole week off. So students skip Friday. And some Profs are cancelling classes today. So more students are skipping Wed-Thur classes before Thanksgiving. When will it end? #academicsky

When are we ever going to stop doing the "(Author, 2023) crap for peer review. It just serves to make glaringly obvious who the author is. Defeats the entire purpose of blind peer review.

This is a great idea for a class in college.

But the provost will ask,"How do we measure ROI on this?" "Can you show that students are more gainfully employed by having taken this class?"

You know what?

FUCK YOU ASSHOLE

(which seems to be the same title as provost in today's world)
Mitochondria being the powerhouse of the cell is cool and all but I think classes like "How to calm the fuck down as an adult in a healthy non self-destructive way 101" is something that should also be taught before graduation

Another FUCKED UP thing this admin is doing to attack women’s power.
