Exactly! My guess is many of those people are tourists with limited time in the city, and I feel really sad they’re losing an hour to that line. (And based on the sad faces in line, they’re questioning their choices) At the same time, it’s their only chance to try this famous pizza?!

L’Industrie is one of my local slice shops, and it is really really good (better than Joe’s down the street, and I love Joe’s) but I always feel so sorry for the people standing in line for 30 minutes or longer when it’s busy.

Yes!!! I first saw it as staff rec at @mcnallyjackson.bsky.social. Kid thought the cover was too scary 🤷but as long as we kept it covered he very much enjoyed it. like Treasure Island, hidden gem is scene celebrating the power of a chunk of cheese.
