The Koreatown Food 4 Less desperately needs self-checkout lanes.

It's all because of how the Toymaker roasted this during the 60th Anniversary Specials.

It's a combination of Neil Patrick Harris' delivery and just how ridiculous the climax of "Face the Raven" sounds with ANY context.

Me currently parked next to my desk heater while the weather's 60°F outside.

Yes!

It's mine! Mine! All mine!

My most anticipated book of November.

Hard to believe Christopher Ruocchio's Sun Eater saga has reached its end, but it's been a hell of a ride.

Had to make an obligatory "Happy Wookie Life Day" joke, and this felt apropos. 😁😆

This was truly a compelling Riddler. This might be my favorite take on Edward Nygma since Paul Dini's seminal Detective Comics run back in the mid-2000s.

Finally finished @farawaypress.com's Batman: Revolution (which I'd been working on incrementally).

All in all, a more than worthy follow-up to Batman: Resurrection. As someone who grew up with the Tim Burton films, this novel -- and the duology as a whole -- was great.

I don't think any modern superhero comic had be me laugh so hard since Nick Spencer's The Superior Foes of Spider-Man (which, fittingly enough, Lieber also drew).

This was the specific panel that completely broke me. 🤣

The instant Niffty switched over to Japanese, and combined with the anime-inspired visuals and subtitles, I completely lost it. 🤣

That's what makes Alastor v. Lucifer in "Dad Beat Dad" so hysterical on the re-watch.

By deliberately antagonizing the King of Hell, Alasator was playing with thermonuclear fire.

He never had a chance, and Charlie's presence was what kept him alive.

And look, I'm sorry, but...

♫ Christmas romcoms all year long at the Multi-plex ♫

That's NOT a Heavenly reward.

To borrow from The Simpsons, that's straight out of Hell's Ironic Punishment Division.

It's gonna be a Rita Repulsa evening...😩

The new Season of Hazbin Hotel finally premieres today!

So as we enter Season Two, I just want to remind all and sundry of one simple, incontrovertible, and totally unbiased fact:

Oh, and I was in no way surprised by the ending of the 2272 flashback.

I had a feeling we weren't going to be rid of THAT character so easily.

Been working through @farawaypress.com's Batman: Revolution.

Stopping the audiobook for tonight and thoughts so far:

Definitely a different, but no less interesting approach from Batman: Resurrection last year.
October 22, 2025 at 3:24 AM
Yes! Hahah!

My OTHER most anticipated October 2025 new read!

I still probably won't be able to get to the Kindle version in time (since it's still on Airplane Mode due to that September backlog).

But I was able to get the audiobook version as well just in case.

@finalrune.com, so, yeah, I think this sums up Khan's reaction -- and mine -- to this week's episode.
October 20, 2025 at 4:53 PM
...Dammit, @finalrune.com.

Now I'm gonna have to take my break early, because otherwise I'm going to go crazy trying to imagine why you're figuratively (if not literally) snacking and smirking.

But I have ideas, and from these first 7 minutes?

Yeah, I've got a bad feeling I know how this ends.

Okay, so the Parisian Police Nationale investigating the Louvre theft are seeking a burglar who infiltrated the, effectively, world's largest treasure house and lifted priceless jewelry from antiquity.

Now, maybe it's just me, but this is the first likely candidate that came to my mind:

I hate the new Amazon Alexa+ voice.

First time it went off last night after the download, it sounded for a second like there was an intruder in my apartment.

It was like this bit from the classic Simpsons episode "Bart of Darkness".

Some of my favorite of the late Drew Struzan's movie posters (or at least the non-Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Back to the Future favorites).

As a San Franciscan trapped in Dodgers Territory, this feels like a more than reasonable, if collected, response to the failure of the Philadelphia Phillies this evening.
