Thank you everyone who supported us on this journey. We thought we had more time. He was ready even if we weren’t. He knew he was loved.
The tumor was bleeding slowly inside him and a surgery was 50/50 with only a month lifespan if successful. We chose to let him go at home surrounded by our other animals.
I am so incredibly broken and was not ready. He was my entire heart and soul. I will love and honor him always. (2/3)

I can’t believe I’m writing this but Panzer is gone. He passed away peacefully via at home euthanasia administered personally by his primary vet who did his amputation. This afternoon he had a seizure after being lethargic all morning. A tumor on his spleen rupturing is what caused. (1/3)

Panzer’s follow up was today. He is all healed from surgery, vet is very happy with how he is doing.
Histopathology report came back and unfortunately he does have cancer.
Vet is referring us to a few oncologists. They will call us to schedule a consult.

He isn’t doing well pain wise so we are opting to have him board with our vet for round the clock care. Dropping him off in a few hours. If all goes well with surgery on Friday he should he able to come home Saturday or Sunday.
I will be visiting him everyday.
