I have read up on here intensively. I just wondered if there was an aspect I missed. I saw the movie in an artsy theater in Bonn, I believe

there sure is... but it is akin to sorting shit by taste to be this oddly specific and invested (there is a comedian doing a skit on this and he at least is FUNNY) I also have not forgotten the odd connection RFK made between 12 year olds and his own "virility" (obv based on 100%made up data)

I need Rodin centered context here to understand (exploiting his way too young lovers? telling them what can and cannot be done? driving the women in his life mad? what is it?)

So, white disgustingly entitled wealthy men who not only abused girls but conspired to keep the abuse secret by starting a culture war against “woke” therefore demeaning anyone who isn’t a wealthy white male. Sounds very Republican to me. Revolting.

For example, when Google hosts a CBP facial recognition app to hunt immigrants, you would think Democrats might say something. But they can't!

In 2024, Alphabet paid the DNC, DSCC and DCCC a combined $3 million. They gave Ro Khanna alone $187,000.

All very bleak.

The way this works, Alphabet solicits federal government contracts on the order of tens of BILLIONS of dollars, then it pays millions of dollars to politicians — mostly Democrats — to stay quiet. It's all astoundingly corrupt, yet perfectly legal.
Google is ‘all in’ on government business
The company’s cloud offering for government customers achieved more important security milestones last week, allowing it’s tech tools to be used in the most sensitive, classified environments.

They can't because Alphabet, Google's parent company, pays Democrats and Democratic groups tens of millions of dollars. This is from the 2024 election cycle.

annoyingly not even the Eu seems to hold the line against big tech, even tho citizens (with any understanding of privacy - which does shockingly not entail politcians O.o) might want to.

Man kann ewig mit irgendeinem Zurückholen-Wunschdenken der AfD hinterherlaufen oder anerkennen, dass die Leute gar nicht zurückgeholt werden wollen.

pointedly and in detail without letting them off with an obvious copout. The convo with J. Steward on trans ppl with an opposing politician comes to mind as something done properly. I honestly find it so odd of ppl to glorify discussing the rights of other humans in a CIVILIZED manner. b/b
