I started on Duolingo to get some of the basics. There are also some other good online like Rocket Languages. Lots of content providers on You Tube. I like the other ideas of finding a local course. Once i got better, I also found native Spanish speakers and hired them as conversation tutors.

I've been learning Spanish and music helps. Especially his latest from the DtMF album is fun, musically, and also has some very soulful lyrics. Who'd have thought that a 70 year old would suddenly find that music irresistible?
