I make TV and film. I write stuff. I was on #TheTraitorsNZ. Wrote FAKE BELIEVE (http://bit.ly/fakebelieve). Made TICKLED documentary. He/Him. [email protected]
And after that, there was still traditional post production work necessary to fix the end product.

Was it cheaper than making it traditionally? Maybe.

Are the hero vehicles consistent? Not at all.

Was it better in any way? No.

It is realistic that decent feature films can be made this way? No.
Coca-Cola holiday ad exposes one of the biggest problems with AI-generated video
Coca-Cola's 2025 holiday ad is an AI remake of its classic "Holidays are Coming" spot. Just don't look too closely at the wheels on the trucks.

I'll pack my bags.

Oh, interesting. I'd wondered.

I love that place, but I hate that sometimes I find a product there that I end up really liking and then can never find it again!!

It's such a great piece!

Yeah, the fact the GST (and general income tax, and ACC) never enters a bank account I control is such a peace of mind.

Fuck me, honestly a Hnry for small businesses (beyond just the sole traders it serves now) would be so good!

I literally never even receive the GST I invoice. I can't spend or. I just get the relevant refund every 6 months when my GST return is filed.

I cannot fuck it up!

I mean I don't think they should do so excessively, but travel to some conferences, a couple of dinners and some flowers are absolutely understandable and normal.

It's one of those many things where it might be a good thing if we, as humans, had literally any capacity to be restrained in our use and demand. But no, we have to put it EVERYWHERE and in EVERYTHING.

Humanity, as a whole, would never pass the Marshmallow Test.

People liked to use Google to search for Reddit posts because you got the entire context of discussions.

AI doesn't do that for citations. It just picks individual sentences and comments to support the claim.

If I happened to answer the phone to a wrong number caller saying what she's saying in those calls I'd pretty quickly be trying to figure out how to get a can of formula to her.

Crazy stuff. And the post hoc justifications from some of those churches are ridiculous.

One of your workmates, is it?

Ultimately we're a fair way short of election season at the moment. National is vulnerable on a lot of fronts and once a campaign actually gets going we can start to get worried... Until then it's all a bit meaningless.
