In a love-hate relationship with the Houston Cougars, the Big 12, college sports in general, and the human race.

it’s vitally important for the future of this country that this wildly unpopular administration is tied directly to its enablers in congress and the courts and used to discredit the entire conservative movement

Another missed opportunity for Houston to pick up a bad early loss
Realizing the UH special sauce is having a bad result(s) before January
20-21: lost to Tulsa in December, made final 4
21-22: needed OT vs Hofstra, made elite 8
22-23: impressive Nov/Dec, lost Sweet 16
23-24: ditto
24-25: lost first 3 games vs real teams, played for a natty

Shoulda lost to Syracuse

imagine what we could be doing if the federal government wasn't actively trying to throttle the growth of this industry

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."

Last year's team lost its first 3 games against real teams and played for a natty. This year's team went 2-1. It's gonna be a fun season.

Correct, the best time for espn to bring on Joe Lunardi is *checks calendar* any time after I've shed this mortal coil, so that I never have to hear from him again

Austin Armstrong won't (and shouldn't) win but deserving of the nomination for sure. Especially if they're going to nominate 63 guys.

What a Monday for Big 12 men's hoops. The conference went 7-0 w/5 wins over P5 foes. In addition to UH's win, Iowa State beat #14 St. John's, expected basement dweller Arizona St rallied from a 10-point deficit to beat ut-austin, Darryn Peterson-less KU beat Notre Dame, and Baylor beat Creighton

Future UH opponent New Orleans currently up 8 at Mississippi State with under 8 to go. Privateers having a bizarre season, starting 2-1 with big upset wins over TCU and Tulane (by 22!) before losing b2b games to kenpom #212 and #172 by 20 combined points. And now threatening an sec team.

Coogs down to #33 in kenpom offensive efficiency. They're not dominating on the offensive glass like they have in years past, so they're gonna have to shoot better than they have so far.

I'm a fan of a team that's leaps & bounds better than what i ever expected when i signed up to be a fan. They're ranked #3 in the country, 6-0 with 2 wins over power conference teams, one of the favorites to win it all. Is it weird that watching them feels like having a slow motion heart attack?

If you're gonna call every little ticky-tack imperfect screen that Houston sets you've gotta at least hold the other team to the same standard

I don't think it matters that the racist Texas gerrymander might be dead. With enough blue state redistricting, Democrats can see how much political pain Republicans are willing to endure before they agree to fair(er) electoral maps.
