Cool, cool! I've had beef liver and it didn't really do much for me, but I still have yet to try chicken liver. Chicken hearts have a taste that's super-savory and rich, but not to the point of being overwhelming. And they're very chewy when not overcooked. Here's a batch I air-fried recently:

65. The War of the Worlds (1898)
I loved it! It definitely holds up, and it's easy to see how it became a foundational piece of science fiction. I listened to the David Tennant audiobook version of it, and he did an EXCELLENT job with it.

64. Smile (2022)
I'd been meaning to watch this one for a bit, and I enjoyed it! I'd call it good not great, but there are bits that really stuck with me, like the birthday party scene, the central revelatory flashback at the climax, and the big, horrific finale.

63. Jaws (1975)
Rewatch, saw this with my family at an IMAX for the film's 50th anniversary. It's still a stone-cold classic, and seeing it on the (extra-big) big screen was a real treat.

Love you, baby.

62. Knives Out (2019)
Rewatch with my brother, mom and stepdad a couple of months ago, and yup, still fantastic, still love it!

61. They Lurk (2023)
My first Ronald Malfi book, and I enjoyed it! I'll admit, "The Stranger" didn't really click with me personally, but it's still a good, solid collection, and my favorites were "After the Fade" and "Fierce".

60. Unsounded (2010-2025)
I've been following this comic for a long time, and it's easily one of the best, most beautiful works of fantasy I've ever read. The ending to this part of the greater story is excellent, and I'm VERY eager to see what's going to happen in Unsounded: The Red Cost.

59. Sisu (2022)
Fuck yeah, I loved this one, it was a great way to cap off my birthday (back in August, still catching up with this list). Simple, straightforward and SO satisfying.

58. The Voice from the Edge Vol. 2 (2001)
Relisten, full of a lot of great stories, though maybe not as great overall as the first volume. And Ellison's reading of them is just as wonderfully hammy and engaging.

57. Nightfall, Season 1 (1980-1981)
This series was a fantastic find, a lot of good-to-great stories in this, with only the occasional dud. Currently the in middle of the second season. I'm SO glad horror radio survived to this point.

56. Blue World: The Complete Collection (1990/2015)
This is a relisten, I LOVE this collection for the most part, and while both narrators are good, Bronson Pinchot is the best/my fave. I will say though, the title story (which is also the longest) and a couple others just didn't click with me.

55. Dead & Buried (1981)
This movie is something else, holy shit. Like a feature-length EC Comics horror story, and I mean that in the best way possible. Special props to the late Jack Albertson, whose final performance in this movie was excellently creepy.

54. RiffTrax Live: Timecop (2025)
I haven't really been logging my RiffTrax watches in this thread, but since it was a big event and I saw it broadcast in a theater, I'll add it. XD Great stuff as usual, good riffing on a very enjoyably cheesy JCVD flick.

53. Weapons (2025)
Jesus CHRIST, this movie, holy shit. I loved it, definitely go check it out, and like with Barbarian, try to learn as little as possible about it before you do.

52. Terror in the Shadows Vol. 1-3 (2019)
Pretty decent selection overall, with a few standouts. However, I actually tried listening to this a couple of years ago, and one story in it made me so mad I dropped it until this year. I'll go into detail later. And the narration is....okay, not great.

51. Deltarune, Chapter 4 (2025)
SO much to dig into here, I love this game and everything about it so, SO damn much, and am VERY eager to see where it goes from here.

50. The Bad Guys 2 (2025)
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, even more than the original!! I was grinning ear to friggin' ear at one particular big moment at the climax (for those who've seen it, you know the one. ;33 ).

How's this? "Dark Times", by Andrea Guardino.

My brother made cottage pie for dinner tonight, and it was DELICIOUS.
