Every update on this has been stunning. The detail and color is just so beautifully done.

That makes sense I think. 7 creates the persistent self off portions of 8. If true suchness is reached by relaxing 6/7, like in trekchod, then the self image created by 7 releases into vast openness, self expands to all which destroys the poisons, and all becomes utter equality beyond distinction.

I like that 😊 Like a scientist of subjectivity

I'm not sure how practical it is to those who aren't practicing, but that's kinda irrelevant.

Understanding the model makes it easier for the practitioner to convey insight in the language of the listener. Can also analyze the listener.

I've kept this tab open for weeks while I chew on it.

That sounds like a perfect setup. Vajrasattva and trekchod are my bread and butter too. And guru yoga ofc. There are some really great anu/ati guru yogas, like the white a.

Also I'm excited for you 😊 very glad you're drawn to these! 🙏 The trilogy looks incredible. Excited to hear what you think. They seem destined to end up on my shelf at some point.

There's a book by my guru (HE Garchen Rinpoche) that's rare to find but it's excellent for both approaches and very accessible, experiential. I'll get you a link. Focuses on the ganges mahamudra text.

Do you have sadhana? I don't know how it works in Zen, but I find the practices to be best.
