Nagi and I would appreciate any good thoughts you can spare for her. She seems to have a cold, trying to decide if she needs to go back to the vet where she probably caught it. (Please consider masking in your vet's office, the pets can't.)

Extremely floofy mostly white white-and-black cat. She's standing behind a patio window, and looking at a frog that's stuck to the other side of the glass. It very much looks like there's a frog hanging off her nose. She was really into the frogs, and they seemed to enjoy taunting her by hanging on the glass.

Turns out the rapture did happen, but on webkinz next. There are suits of clothing wandering around without the pets in them.
Two webkinz next pets in a screenshot from the common area in kinzville. My pet is a unicorn in a light blue dress with pink mane and tail. Standing nearby is another player's pet, wearing what looks like an olive suit. Its head and feet and tail, if any, are not rendered. The player, enjoying this weirdness, has put up a word bubble with a ghost emoji in it.

You can also get a frog hat for your tortoise, and a variety of costumes for your lizard, including this little pumpkin.

Okay, doll stuff. The ladies are sharing Halloween treats as they pregame their party.
The Barbie Style doll and the Nightmare Before Christmas doll seated on the monster high couch with the monster feet and arms. The style doll is Latina, with long wavy brown hair, wearing a pastel rainbow shimmery pleated skirt with a black t-shirt covered by a white men's shirt with rolled cuffs, open and loosely tied at the hem. She's got sunglasses on her head, silver hoop earrings, blue heels, and an iridescent purse. The Sally and Jack doll is darker skinned, with long red hair with a glow in the dark white streak to one side, wearing a fan shirt of Nightmare Before Christmas, and a patchwork skirt with fun angles on the hem. Next to them is a pink baked goods stand with little trays. The cookies are halloween cake decorations, shaped like ghosts, bats, pumpkins, eyeballs, cats, and spiders. The sprinkles are stuck to the trays with frosting, and were yummy.

To be fair, it's *always* PSL season in my heart.
A very small yellowish golf ball shaped fish, the Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker. This one was a juvenile at Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium back when we went, possibly in spring. This one is hovering slightly and shown from the front, which makes it look a bit like a frog. Its pelvic fins have fused into a sort of suction cup, which is shown pretty well in this pic my partner took.

My partner has adopted a new wall kitten.

Partner: There's a spider in the tub!

Me: She was there first, wait your turn.

She gets carefully removed by my partner every day, but apparently she lives in the bathtub now. I named her Nell.
Extremely bad pic of a small spider in a bathtub that needs cleaning but not until the spider moves. I used to know what species these guys were, but now all I remember is that they're medically non-significant. It's a dark brown or black, with very little hair, and it doesn't seem to build webs. I'm hoping she'll settle into the shower cap that hangs on the wall so my partner doesn't have to chase her out of the tub every morning.

The cat has taken to trying to sleep on my pillow while I'm sleeping on it.

A hot pink "table" with four legs. It has molded straw on top, and a pink transparent background for hamsters, shaped like a barbie dream house. There's a little purple slide, a wheel, a water bottle, a food bowl, and assorted shelves for the hamsters to hang out on. It comes with three plastic hamsters, including the one in the wheel. It's open to the world, so I think barbie's hamsters are likely to escape, but I'm sure the littles will do their best to keep the barbie cats away from them.

These look like eggs, to me. Anyone wanna take a guess?

They're on a sweet gum leaf, and it's safely back outside after I got the pic.
A sweet gum leaf, partial. It's greyish here but was bright green. One part of the leaf are five little light green, mostly translucent spheres, presumably eggs of some bug. They're loosely clustered and don't seem to have been clumped together necessarily, just laid near each other. There was another egg on another leaf. No bugs, no serious damage. The twig was lying on the ground in my parking lot, I didn't break it off. There's some potential scuffing on the leaf probably from being blown around the parking lot. Doesn't look like insect damage to me, at least not severely.

As promised, meerkat pic from point defiance zoo.
Meerkat habitat seen through a glass window. This area is sheltered from rain and heat, and the meerkats were all in here the day we went. There are a bunch of big pipes half buried in a rocky substrate to simulate tunneling, because they're not allowed to dig into actual earth, they can escape. A half buried pipe is facing the window, and there's a meerkat peering out of it. Meerkats are a type of communally living mongoose. This one has a typical big head on a slender body, with dark eyes and a paler face. They place their paws delicately when they stop moving, and this one is perching its front paws on a piece of stray wood so it can extend its neck further. It and my partner just stood and watched each other for a while. My partner likes them, I think mostly because they remind us both of our little tabby cat boy who used to stand on his hind legs to demand attention.

Animals from the front:
A very small, very round, very bumpy fish with a color like a toasted marshmallow. It's a juvenile pacific spiny lumpsucker at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Washington State. The shot is from above (and through the glass) looking down at the fish's snout, its eyes are shown in profile on either side of its head. It looks like it's hovering, but its pelvic fins are formed into a suction cup, which it had stuck to the glass with. The background is a mottled grey rock wall, part of a thin armed orange starfish is seen on the floor. There was a big orange starfish, a different species, stuck to the front of the tank that the little lumpsuckers would occasionally try to stick to. They swim like bumblebees fly, bumping around, it's adorable.

(These are Sour Adventure Chewy Tic Tacs. The colors are derived from natural sources, but the flavors are artificial. 🤷)
Small white bowl with a bunch of large and badly formed tic tacs, they're basically jellybeans with a candy coating. There's a mid sunny yellow, a muddy orange, a raw hamburger red, a lavender, and an avocado green. The colors are washed out, as one expects of natural dyes.

Doll date night.
Two dolls on the blue Monster High sofa. One is the Barbie fashion doll, she's probably Latina, with wavy long brown hair, hoop earrings, a shiny multicolored pleated skirt, blue heels, a black t and a white men's overshirt tied at the waist. She's leaning towards her date, with an arm along the back of the sofa and her feet pointed away. Her date is the ILY Jack and Sally (Nightmare before christmas) doll. She has a medium brown complexion, a little darker than her date's. long straight red hair with a white glow in the dark streak on one side. She's wearing a disney souvenir style t-shirt that says Master of Fright and has Sally and Jack depicted in the middle of a circle. The shirt kind of falls off one shoulder naturally. She has a black and silver swirled necklace, and a patchwork (the fabric is printed) skirt. She has purple and white hightop sneakers and she's sort of shuffling her feet as she sits, looking towards her hands in her lap. She seems very shy.

Old pic. All black cat Nagi, staring out from inside her woolen cave. This pic features two extremely alert yellow eyes and a couple of white whiskers, but also her front paws (crossed over each other!) and part of her tail, which is getting enough light that you can see the rings on it, they're a slightly lighter black. They call cats with these markings "ghost tabbies", because the tabby marks are extremely hard to see. In Nagi's case, they're visible on her tail in decent light, and lightly on her flanks in sunlight.

Her brother died young, but he managed to find her a good home and to save her life in a couple of other ways before he died. I miss him, just as I miss Cypress (the first black cat we had) and all the others. But they're each their own person, and I would not have missed Nagi for the world. (4/4)
Two kittens in a plastic storage bit. I forget how this happened, I think they were both sitting in it when it was on the side, and then my partner tipped it up to get this pic. They're both squished in the bottom against each other, both half on their sides. Their heads are facing right. The upper cat here is a tabby boy with a visible white belly and socks on his paws, which have black and pink mixed toe beans. He has white whiskers and an uncharacteristically serious expression. in the other half of the bin is Nagi, a black kitty. Her tail is sticking out of the bin in an annoyed way, and she is fairly squished by her brother. She looks kind of annoyed with her big yellow eyes.

This is Sally. She hangs out on my desk. My partner got her for us just because they were in a store and saw her.
A small round beanie baby plush. She's a little black cat with orange paws, nose, whiskers, one orange ear, and an orange spot under that ear. She's got an embroidered smile and she's very fluffy. She has big green plastic sparkly eyes that make hugging her difficult despite how soft and fluffy her fur is. There's glitter on her paws, she's not remotely washable, so she's a sit on the desk toy anyway, not much hugging. She's about the size of a tennis ball, so, yeah, desk friend. Some of the littles call her Sal, I call her Sally. It's the smile.

A white bucket hat. It is incredibly boring. It is almost the same color as the white background. Around the base of the rim is a very thin ribbon that might have most of the colors of the pride rainbow in a retro cast but they're not in order. Light green, orange, light green, red, yellow, rust orange, light blue, stripes on it, maybe it's for queer mantis shrimp. You could accidentally buy this and wear this to your company picnic and your boss's wife would never assume you were gay or even very cheerful. I would market this to seventy year old straight Italian fishermen in New Jersey. Gay it is not. (Also, the ribbon is probably pretty easy to make the sweatshop workers replace with red and green in time for winter holiday season.)
