Pauline Hanson has been an advocate for men's rights, never for women victimised by male perpetrators. If anything she often views the men as victims of lying women.

The 5th amendment does aim to protect the innocent but is good fodder for the guilty to use as a defence.

The innocent don't usually have something to hide so it wouldn't occur to them that they have the right to remain silent.

Watching from afar (in Australia) I think both Jeffries and Schumer deadweights. They both are inept and think they are part of the solution when they are a big part of the problem. More focused on their power than the people! Neither inspire - need to retire or relinquish their leadership!
