Seems to me like #ChatGPT had another model update behind the scenes that has brought back the sycophancy. Attached some of the first sentences in the replies from one multi-turn conversation discussing a software engineering topic. I don't know what they're going for, but this is giving the ick.

$4.99 for a Coke in a glass this tiny at Scott's Bar and Grill... and of course a portion is ice. It's sugar water and cost them less than 25¢ served. Every business, everywhere is just grabbing whatever they can get. Pure greed. Just trying to rob the average American blind.
