Very interesting! I had couple of patients that got diagnosed as Ogilvie syndrome.

Sounds like pseudoobstruction... seen in patients with Ogilvie syndrome. Can also cause severe electrolyte dysfunction. But quite rare.. mostly diagnosed by GI before the nephrologists get to see them

Did he have any worsening in kidney function after NET diagnosis? There are several other factors contributing to this as we discussed earlier.. keen to know more.

Yes. scan had evidence of NET with mets to the liver. none to the kidneys though!
