Do not buy tea or anything at Starbucks either.
As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

How much carbon budget do we have left if we want to stay below 1.5˚C?

Just 2 more years at current rates. It is essentially impossible to avoid global temperature rise exceeding 1.5˚C.

We also need to come to terms with the fact that Merrick Garland (definitely) and Joe Biden (almost certainly) knew what was in those files and did absolutely nothing with them.

As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

I'm not saying we should mandate that our elected leaders be required to take testosterone blockers as a condition of taking office.

But I'm not not saying it, either.
It's astonishing how much damage upon our world has been inflicted because a handful of very rich guys wanted to be able to fuck underage girls.

There is no higher goal, no lofty ideology--just wanting to bang some teenagers. These guys are monstrous, but they're also so, so pathetic.

I hate thinking about my own problems when folks are being kidnapped off the street, but ACA subsidy cuts will make my life a lot harder. And that's true for almost every freelancer and creative you follow.

None of this is fucking necessary. It's all a choice, and I will never forgive it.

A leader would not have lost eight colleagues tonight. This happened because you let it happen or because you’ve totally lost control of the caucus in one of the most important moments since you’ve been Democratic leader. Either way, it’s on you. You need to step down. We need someone who can lead.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

They’re wearing masks so they can’t be prosecuted later. As long as they think they can’t be prosecuted, their crimes will intensify. They will torture, starve and kill, as they have already, on greater and greater scale.

Signed, someone who’s covered the unaccountable War on Terror for 23 years.
I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.

It is a practice in conflict with the principles of transparency & accountability that are central to the concept of democracy.

Under Schumer's leadership, eight Democrats (Cortez Masto, Durbin, Fetterman, Hassan, Kaine, King, Rosen, & Shaheen) joined the Republicans in moving forward a bill to reopen the government without ACA subsidies—Dems' stated key aim—or any other real concessions from the status before the shutdown.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

Senate Democrats really thought last week’s vote was a sign of support for them, and not enthusiastic support for people willing to fight the GOP. They are mistaken, and the fastest and most complete way for them
to lose that support is to give in tonight.
