Yeah, would need a complete tyre redesign I think! Seeing waste tyres are SUCH a major pollution problem too, might be time to find a more sustainable material for our billions of vehicles?

Yeah, doesn’t make that clear… but 5000 tons a year (not clear in what area, if it’s just Tāmaki Mākaurau?) ain’t great seeing it’ll all end up in the food chain 😢 And EVs are likely worse offenders cause they’re heavier (as are SUVs)!
