i think in general ONE struggles a bit with his female characters, but this is the first time its really bothered me much. ill admit though theres bias here. i like monkeys and i like bugs so the monkey girl and bug girl dying hits me a bit harder than it might otherwise lol

but it also means there have basically been no female characters who get to be major players in the power struggle (besides kind of one). and it sucks when theyve been way more interesting to me than a lot of the other faction villains who get to stick around.

spoilers but two of my favorite villains so far have been these really cool female demon lords who have existed, exclusively, to gas up another faction by dying. one time bothered me. two times now makes me genuinely bummed out. and theyre villains so whatever, right?

i think its ending was perfect
