Those would be lovely to see, hopefully the exhibition opens up again soon. One of my art units from my recent Cert. III was about getting commissioned, there is so many little meticulous details and assumptions both the client and the artist need to make, it was suprisingly difficult!

Yes! I have been reconstructing w. alcootanesis with the help of Adam Yates, just with the skull so far. I have measured the P-C Material, and I plan on doing a full skeletal when some other potential referred P-C material is described. I will post the skull and some prelim illustration wips soon!

Oh true! Didn't even notice that, thanks for pointing out! Yeah, the head is very nice, I'm currently working on a Wakaleo alcootaensis illustration so this has been a good inspiration of reconstruction style.

A lovely blog to read in the morning with a cup of tea. Very nice. I think Gabriel Ugeuoto's reconstruction is perhaps my favourite, aswell as it stands up to date with the recent phylogentic paper, being so, well, koala-like!

The brown honeyeaters have yet to be posted, I will post them in the near future!
November 20, 2025 at 2:21 AM
The fish is Ceratodus nargan, an extinct relative of the Qld Lungfish.

The giant amphibian is the 3m Koolasuchus cleelandi.

The birds are the brown honeyeater (Lichmera indistincta ocularis) Male at top, female bottom, Juvenile on left!

I have singular post of each, so more info ab them there!
