Yeah it all lies in how it's communicated to the class. I just feel that as soon as they're asked to analyse how Jamie had been radicalised, it'll lose power.

It is also the best showcase I've seen for the value of the arts in education. The government obviously won't admit this, especially when many of the creative voices are working class, and its technical angle could appeal to those who wouldn't be into drama or English.

Firstly, we all know that if kids are presented with something knowing that it's didactic, they will immediately take the piss out of it. It feels more aimed at the parents than kids too.

It's being presented like those local theatre groups who'd come into the school to talk about bullying etc
