We forgot to post the #Eurovision scholar predictions last night, @pauldavidflood.bsky.social! As everyone can see, we were a bit torn on some choices but we all thought Australia was a shoe-in!

Although:
Gelato Messina, one of Australia's most popular gelato chains (where Mitchell is also an executive chef), has a finger bun gelato - brioche gelato with whipped cream, raspberry puree and coconut icing - on its specials rotation. It proved such a hit Gelato Messina collaborated with the skin care brand Standard Procedure on a finger bun-flavoured lubricant for Valentine's Day last year. It sold out within minutes.

Eurovision posted this statement on the bad place...and promptly closed replies (the same post on Insta has 6k comments so far). Excuse me while I go write a whole chapter on "dialogue" in participatory diplomacy. (Hint: closing replies ain't it.)

Eurovision has been nominated in the Best Entertainment Program category of the AACTAs and I'm trying to puzzle this one out because SBS/Blinktv only create maybe 5% of the broadcast content (i.e. the commentary - and the Australian act, we could argue).
